Tim was born on July 25, 1971 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Will and Connie (Hopkins) Trenkamp. He attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School, Western Dubuque High School, graduating with the Class of 1989. From there he began at UNI earning a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Tim has been in restaurant management for 16 years, most recently at Tony’s Trattoria in Waterloo.

Surviving are his brother, Ted Trenkamp of Madison, WI and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
|
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will in 1983 and Connie in 2002, and his grandparents.
|
Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or St. Francis Xavier Basilica.
