Timothy R. Boge, 40, of Hoover, Alabama, and formerly of Dyersville, Iowa died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.

Friends may call from 2 – 8 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa where a parish scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 8, 2010, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Phil Kruse.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 2061 Patten Chapel Road, Hoover, AL.

Tim was born on October 27, 1969, in Dyersville, Iowa, the son of Robert and Judith (Meyers) Boge. He graduated with the Beckman High School Class of 1988. Tim’s love was baseball from early childhood. He went to the University of Alabama on a scholarship after having been drafted by the Cincinatti Reds Organization. He graduated from UofA in 1993, and began a career in corporate insurance, most recently working for Kunkel and Associates in Dubuque.
He married Malin Ohlund on July 15, 1995, in, Lulea, Sweden. Together they made their home in the Birmingham area.

Survivors include his mother, Judy Boge of Dyersville; 2 children, Hanna and Emmy, and the mother of his children, Malin Ohlund-Boge, of Birmingham, AL, 2 brothers: Tom (Jamie), Terry (Meg) all of Dyersville, 1 sister, Becky (Todd) Steffen of Dyersville; 8 nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert on January 15, 2000, his grandparents: Jim and Stella Meyers and Elmer and Olga Boge.
